Delavo 2.xx Installation & Basic Setup
What I will, as YOUR Delavo Angel, do for YOU when you get a complete DELAVO Installation on your domain? LOTS! Once your license is registered, I will do everything you see below.
And don’t worry if much of this sounds like computer geek talk to you, because it is! 
It’s all part of getting your Delavo running smoothly and perfectly
behind the scenes of your online business. And because almost everything
here only needs to be done once during the initial set up, I’m going to take care of all this technical stuff for you.
It’s like owning a brand new car – someone else does all the work of getting that car ready for you, and you simply sit behind the wheel and start driving your way to online success!
Here’s what I, as your personal Angel, will do first…
- Connect and upload the core files in proper files transfer mode to your server
- Set the correct files permission to run the installation
- Access your control panel in order to create a mysql database that will store all your DELAVO data
- Run the installation program to install DELAVO in a subdirectory, on your server and populate the database with
the necessary tables
- Create a unique username and password that will secure your access to your DELAVO system
- Set the proper command string from your server through the CRON DAEMON scheduler, that is necessary to run
all automated tasks in your DELAVO system
Once installed, I log into your system and proceeds with
your basic merchant setup, based on information you provide (nothing’s
mandatory except for the currency you want to use)…
- Your site name
- Your Helpdesk URL
- System Currency
- Your premier or business standard Paypal account so your DELAVO system can take payment through Paypal
I will then create and activate a single tier affiliate program for you…
- It can be set so that each new customer is automatically enrolled in your affiliate program and automatically attributed a Unique Affiliate ID
- This provides you with the power to automatically create an army
of sellers for your products and/or services. Each new client can
immediately begin promoting your products and/or services through
his/her unique affiliate link, thus making a commission on each sale,
that occurs from their link.
- I will also place the necessary and appropriate string code on your sales page to activate the DELAVO Ordering and Affiliates’ System
- Your DELAVO will then track all of your sales, both those that you personally make and also the sales made by your registered affiliates
One Package/Product or One Membership
Once the previous steps are completed, I will set up either one of the following, making it ready for delivery to your clients, ready to be sold by your new affiliates, and completely tracked by your affiliate sales program…
- A Package, with 1 digital product (Package/Product), delivered to your customers as a download (an ebook for example).
OR
- A Membership Package/Product Combo. A Membership protects,
provides and manages accesses to a subdirectory on your site used as
your Members Area (a membership site access).
The membership setup includes one download link for 1 Product
inside the membership folder on the index.html page. Terminology and
template to be decided on, but basically a generic template saying,
“Welcome to the membership. You can download your product by clicking
Here.”

I’ve been taken care of all the technical details FOR you in about a day, and you barely had to lift a finger. And best of all, now you’re in business and ready to immediately start promoting your product and making money with the power and professionalism of your new DELAVO business platform!
